Wilcox Park is home to several Memorials including flowering shrubs, trees, benches and monuments. We have three Memorial programs that are available to the general public. A tree, for example, can be dedicated to a loved one either as a Memorial or as an Honorary dedication. Please refer to this link for the specifics of these programs: Memorial Policy.
The Library Building itself is the oldest and largest memorial on the grounds of Wilcox Park.
It opened its doors in 1894 and is a memorial to the Civil War soldiers.
